Overview
Cramond Kirk hall has several community spaces, including a large hall with a stage and several more cosy places for meetings and gatherings. It has accessible Ramos at both the front and back, as well as accessible disabled parking. There is a disabled, well equipped toilet which is easy to find. There is also a kitchen which is easily accessible for disabled persons. Unfortunately there is no automatic doors and the upstairs hall does not have a lift accessing it, however there are other halls which can be accessed downstairs
Transport & Parking
The nearest bus stop is about a ten minute walk away. It is down a slightly narrow pavement and the acces to the centre involves walking for a short way along the access road which is very smooth
Access
disabled access available There is lots of seating in the waiting area and it has a nice community atmosphere. There are no automatic door at the entrance unfortunately. There is no induction loop.
Toilets
The accessible loo is well equipped and is pretty good. It is large enough to manoeuvre and has grab rails. It is just of the main foyer area right next the the ladies loos and is easy to locate. There is enough room for a carer.
Staff
As it is a community centre, depending on the time of visit/ reason there may not always be a memeber of staff there. There is a caretaker for the hall who should greet you. It may be best to contact the hall before hand to talk about arrangements if you would like to be greeted.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Modernisation improvement could be made to the whole centre, but the newest part is pretty modern (the part that includes the disabled loo is modern)
