Lovely staff, fantastic food, gorgeous surroundings and pretty good accessibility.

Transport & Parking

We were able to park right outside the door to the restaurant part of the building. The car park was of a good size.

Access

The car park is gravel, which I find it hard to walk on. The scooter managed it OK though. There were a couple of low steps at the entrance (each an inch or so high). Staff were eager to help and although there was no ramp I had no bother getting in on the scooter with a wee shove!

Toilets

On the flat, plenty of manoeuvring room. Lovely toiletries!

Staff

Couldn't have been nicer. Great gin recommendations. Nothing was too much trouble (amending dishes etc). This birthday girl got a free glass of champagne and a Happy Birthday message written in her dessert!

Anything else you wish to tell us?

Absolutely delightful evening with fantastic five star food and service. The grounds looked beautiful (through the window) and the interior was an attractive and well designed stately home - cosy and elegant rather than stuffy or intimidating. I can't believe that a place with such food, service and surroundings exists in a wee place like Contin. If somebody invited me to visit again I'd be there in seconds.
