Overview
This was a very welcoming venue with incredibly helpful staff who couldn't have done any more to accommodate me ; the food was lovely and well-priced.
Transport & Parking
We parked in a multi-storey city-centre car park in the Old George Mall. It had disabled spaces accessed from the shopmobility office at the entrance which issues a day pass. Disabled parking is all on ground floor and separated from the main car parking, making it a bit safer disembark etc. The restaurant itself is located in a pedestrianised area so you can't park there, but it's not far from the car park and there are other car parks too.
Access
This restaurant is split-level and diners in wheelchairs or with walking difficulties are seated in the lower level where possible, if there is no space, they use a ramp to ensure access to the higher level. There is also seating outside on a street terrace which is where I sat and the table was a good height to sit at in a wheelchair.
Toilets
This is the only down side to this restaurant; there is a disabled toilet but it is on the higher level so staff need to take a ramp out for access to it but as already mentioned, staff were only too willing to help in any way they could.
Staff
The waitress was very helpful and actively tried to be inclusive rather than just doing the bare minimum, I felt that my satisfaction was just as important to her as that of the other diners. She made a huge effort without being patronising.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
I would definitely go again and I would recommend it to others. It was across from a lovely old church so it was nice to sit outside that evening.
