Overview
I have been to several Cote restaurants recently since I realised the restaurants are accessible. The three I have visited all had a step but after phoning in advance I found out they all have a fold away light weight ramp kept by the front door. I have turned up on my own and just waved to a member of staff who have come outside straight away to put the ramp out for me or I have asked a friend to pop in and ask the staff for help. The staff are relaxed and made me feel very comfortable.
Transport & Parking
I drove myself to the restaurant. There is parking in the Waitrose carpark opposite and you can also safely cross the road using the pelican crossing. There is some disabled on street park nearby and you can of course also park safely on the high street on a double yellow line as long as you make sure you park in the wider section of the street.
Access
There is no signage and a 15 - 20 cm step but the staff will put out a ramp for you and open the door.
Toilets
There is an accessible toilet but only 3.5 stars as there are often a lot of high chair stacked next to the toilet which I find difficult to negotiate. On one occasion a member of staff offered to move them all for me but I still find this very irritating !
Staff
Really friendly and helpful. Always make me feel very comfortable.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
The Cote Brasserie chain tend to have spacious restaurants with plenty of space to negotiate my way to tables and to the toilet. They offer a 2 or 3 course menu from 12 noon to 7 pm which is very reasonably priced and provide chilled tap water on the table without asking. Service is 12.5 %. I have been to the Esher branch on 4 or 5 occasion and the service and staff has been consistent good.
