Overview
Excellent access from the Balgreen end. No intermediate access points for wheelchair users. Sound access at the Corstorphine end, though whoever developed the Paddockholm estate on the site of Corstorphine Station hadn't heard of drop-downs.
Transport & Parking
Can't comment on parking. The path starts from Balgreen Tram stop, which is also served by Lothian's bus #38. Once through the Paddockholm estate a short walk up Station Road brings you to St John's Road, Corstorphine, from where there are frequent buses back to the city city or westwards (Lothian 12, 26 & 31)

Anything else you wish to tell us?
The total distance from Balgreen Tram stop to Station Road Corstorphine is 1.2 miles. Great views of Corstorphine Hill and Carriclk Knowe Golf Course. If you return by the same route or start at the Corstorphine end, there are great views of the Pentland Hills. Railway buffs will enjoy passing through the former North British Railway station at Pinkhill, which was the station for Edinburgh Zoo. The branch line opened in 1902 and closed in 1967.
