Overview
Conishead Priory is a lovely old building. The cafe is open from 11am to 5 .there are tables with sunshades on the lawn. Paths lead straight from the gardens to the shore of Morecambe Bay, but it is advisable to use the lane by the entrance, the gradient is gentle on this route. This leads to a broad path through lovely mature woodland. After about quarter of a mile the Bay is reached. Is is a good spot for bird watching on the incoming tide .
Transport & Parking
There are 2 disabled spaces adjacent to the priory near the cafe. A ramp leads into the priory itself. The disabled toilet is elsewhere in a courtyard leading to the Buddhist Temple.
