Overview
This 3 mile walk follows the old railway line through farm land and countryside from Comrie to St Fillians. At the time I went it wasn't 100% finished so parts were still the old bumpy rocky path. No problem for my off road electric wheelchair but those needing pushed might struggle. The start of the path takes you through a woodland area, you then pass through a farmers field (sometimes full of cows, they don't bother you though) and under a bridge. This is where the smooth path starts. It then meanders through a sheep field and down into the village of St Fillans. Beware some of the inclines are a little steep and bends can be a bight tight if you are on a bike. The views are lovely and there's even a frog and a crocodile to keep you company. The path continues towards Lochearnhead, thought it hasn't been finished yet and I haven't explored the wheelchair access.
Transport & Parking
There is a small amount of parking available at the start of the walk just off the main A85 in an area called Dalhonzie. The ground is as nature intended and there are no marked bays or particular disabled parking.
Access
Disabled access kinda depends on your ability. It is partially off road, with the right equipment it would be no problem e.g. electric wheelchair.
Toilets
No toilets along the route. The nearest one is in the local shop in St Fillans, however that is not wheelchair accessible.
