Overview
We have visited a couple of times since it opened and found the venue accessible and the staff helpful and friendly. The viewing areas are good, but like all places I just wish there were more wheelchair accessible spaces. The co-op backstage club is good, but a tad expensive at £35ish extra each. You do get a drink included and there is lots of space to get around. Plus you can go in earlier before the other main doors are opened.
Transport & Parking
I drove to the venue and parked on the blue badge parking area. It's a flat path to the disabled entrance. Getting out of Manchester was different each time we've been. Sometimes getting off the car park can be a challenge, but that's the same wherever you go to.
Access
There are lifts, a disabled entrance. It's flat from blue badge car parking, but uphill to get to the other entrances. My daughter pushed me to the back stage club, and last time we were told we could use the disabled entrance and they'd take us around. I'll try that next time and let you know.
Toilets
Not sure about changing places loo. The disabled loos are reasonably large. I can stand to swap from wheelchair to loo, so can't comment on transfers. They are usually clean, but we followed a man into one and he must have been going for the record of how much he could wee on the seat, yuk.
Staff
Staff and security are really helpful and friendly.
