Overview

It is good to find a local taxi firm with wheelchair accessible vehicles. After calling a few local cab firms I came across CNR who have wheelchair accessible vehicles and did not charge you extra for a minibus style vehicle or for the Service. They have a custom built vehicle to allow you to enter from the rear, it has the correct security points for the chair to anchor down and in normal seatbelt. After using the service once or twice, I can honestly say it is a game changer for me to allow me to get out and about more quickly and easily.

Transport & Parking

Having a bespoke Wheelchair vehicle makes transportation so much easier with a heavy power chair. Five stars for sure.

Access

The driver operated the ramp and offered to use the electric hoist to pull me into the vehicle but since I was in a power chair, I was able to drive straight in where there were four anchor points that secured my chair safely to the vehicle.

Staff

Staff are well trained and used to the vehicle, The staff use contactless payment methods which is so easy for me to pay using my watch rather than dig around to get out cash.
