Overview
Excellent woodland trails - pick your route carefully but accessible trails abound. Unfortunately the map provided doesn't clearly show them.
Transport & Parking
There weren't a huge number of disable parking spaces - we had to go to the more remote end of the car park to find a non-disabled space.
Access
There was no signage for accessible routes though we found most of the paths and trails accessible. The map provided purports to have access info on one side but it is limited in its usefulness - for a start it only covers the central area around the cafe and some people want to go a bit further than that! Different woods and trails had signs giving their names bit these didn't appear on the maps so it was difficult to plot where we were on this huge site.
Toilets
I didn't use it but there was one so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt!
Staff
Staff at the way in knew I was disabled but didn't volunteer any information about parking, loos or accessible trails. I had to ask for a map.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Signage was poor - map provided was difficult to decipher (even my experienced mapping surveyor hubbie found it challenging!). Something on the map giving the names of each wood or trail to match the signs out there would help. Something identifying accessible routes would be a great help.
