Overview

this was a cosy cottage with good access in a nice village very near to the sea. the cottage was well-furnished and attractive and a great place to stay for a holiday in the area.

Transport & Parking

there is parking just a few feet from the door of the cottage.

Access

This cottage has good accessibility, with level access throughout the ground floor. The ground-floor bedroom has a good amount of space and wooden floorboards. The ensuite bathroom has a wheel-in shower, and the bed has enough space underneath to fit in a mobile hoist. The living room is also spacious and there is room for a wheelchair user to sit next to the couch to watch TV. The car park was compacted gravel which was a little bumpy but not bad to drive over in my power chair.

Toilets

The ensuite bathroom is excellent. There was a wheel-in shower with a shower seat attached to the wall. Grab rails next to the toilet and a large sink which was big enough for a wheelchair user to use. Most important there was ample room to manoeuvre
