Overview
Grandsons birthday party at the play centre, amazing fun for able bodied children. However, once party food room called I was greeted by a stair case, I’m in a wheelchair! We politely asked we the elevator was as obviously I couldn’t climb the stairs. We were rudely told no elevator!! I asked how could this be seeing at this is a newish attraction to the multi million pound earning pier. The lady left to get her boss who stated no elevator or disabled toilet!! In 2022, this place is huge! Furthermore, my daughter was informed she should have emailed ahead explaining our special requirements. My daughter replied she had 3 times without a reply so wrongly assumed this established Pier would of course wheelchair users. The manager shrugged her shoulders and concluded we could have the little ones birthday meal in the cafe, no special party room. I tried to insist they left me downstairs. However my family refused and made the best of things. We are still waiting for an explanation from our emails from the pier.

Access onto the pier is excellent. Into the play Centre accessibility is good. However hearing impaired would struggle.
