Overview

Very accessible with lifts in the two storey properties, brilliant wet rooms and low level kitchens appliances fitted.

Transport & Parking

Each property has their own parking spaces for at least 2 vehicles outside the front door, which is paved so easy to walk on or wheel yourself in your chair to the cottages.

Access

The 4 cottages we have stayed in have space to move around and allow independent living. The wet rooms are fully equipped with shower chairs and grab handles, the kitchen has low level appliances and best of all it isn't cluttered with big pieces of furniture which only gets in the way.

Toilets

At least one of the toilets, if not both, in each property we have stayed in have grab handles to allow easy and independent transfer from chair to toilet

Staff

William, Lavinia, Kevin and the whole housekeeping team are marvellous and nothing is too much for them to do. They are warm and welcoming and make it a very pleasurable stay.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

I found these cottages 6 years ago & bring my parents each year for a family holiday. My mother is wheelchair dependent & so far we've stayed in 4 different cottages, each of which have something unique and special about it. I would like to say one is my favourite, but there isn't a cottage I wouldn't want to stay in. The stable cottage is more compact but my mum's favourite for just the two of them with their own private garden, the children love the Old Cart Shed because there is endless space for them to hid, & I'm just happy to be somewhere which is genuinely disabled friendly!!
