Overview
There is a flight of stairs (approx 10) to get up first, then another 1 or 2 to enter, through the doors there are toilets off to the right, then two or three large steps to get up to the main area where the seats, bar and bands are.
Transport & Parking
The venue is in the centre of town so great for buses. We were able to park right outside!
Access
Poor access, no lifts or ramps and a lotof stairs. Onlt 1 doorman so they could not help. I went in my manual wheelchair with a group of friends, luckily I don’t weigh a whole lot so one carried me and another carried my chair in! If it had been really busy I wouldn’t have been able to see but the staff said I could go upstairs which is off limits to the public but there was a spiral staircase to access it so we didn’t use it.
Toilets
No disabled toilet
Staff
I didn’t speak to anyone while there but I’d spoken to people in advance and they were supportive and gave helpful info about the different options for entry and health and safety protocols
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Definitely not suitable for powerchair users, wheelchairs it is possible but you need a lot of help plus- don’t drink so you won’t need the toilet! Walking stick/crutches users- there are a good amount of seats as soon as you’re in. I spoke to people in advance and I’m really glad I went, it’s a great wee gig venue. If only it was possible it had better access
