Overview
My husband and I attended an event, a medieval weapons display. The main open areas of the castle are accessible but the paths are very steep. The event was hugely enjoyable. Not all rooms are accessible. The shop may be difficult for those who cannot walk at all.

Access
There were very steep paths to the entrance and some paths inside were very steep. There is seating. I am able to walk a little so I saw the oldest door in Europe. We went mainly for the event. There is a nice cafe out side the castle within the shop (not the same shop as the one inside the castle.) Chepstow itself is very hilly so the town is not recommended.
Toilets
Did not use.
