Disabled Access Day at Chelmsford Museum
On Disabled Access Day we would like to invite you to join us between 10am and 4pm at our free drop in session where there will be a range of activities for you to join in.
One of our expert museum curators will be on hand to give people the opportunity to touch and feel historic objects as part of an object handling session.
We will also have our iPad minis on hand with an audio visual sub titled guide for our key exhibits.
The Colne Endeavour band will also be joining us on the day for some live music! The band is primarily for people with a variety of disabilities and mixed musical talent and they will be linking their music to instruments on display in the museum.
Visitors will also be invited to make their own music on the day with a guitar accompaniment.
