Overview
Lovely food, great atmosphere and views. Was great for my mother in wheelchair/with sticks, and the staff were really helpful. We'll definitely go back.
Transport & Parking
The restaurant is in central Edinburgh, so well served by buses. There's some limited disabled parking bays directly outside the restaurant, but we were able to find somewhere nearby to park. You can find more about the parking here https://www.edinburgh.gov.uk/info/20085/parking_spaces/507/parking_bay_locations
Access
The restaurant is entirely on one floor (the fourth floor), and is serviced by a lift. Although the main entrance gives you a daunting set of stairs, there is a second lift next to it which takes you directly into the main restaurant. Plenty of space to move around in a standard wheelchair.
Toilets
Designated wheelchair accessible toilet which is well signposted - only draw back is a heavy door between restaurant and the toilets in general. You'll need to ask the staff for a key to get in.
Staff
Staff were incredibly helpful - they were able to talk us through the layout of the restaurant exactly so we were reassured it would work for us. They also offered us a choice of tables so we could pick the one that worked best for us.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
We'd definitely recommend this place. The food was lovely, and the views from the roof terrace over the new town (and of the Castle!) really added to our experience. It's a lovely place for a birthday meal or special treat.
