Venue Description

Changing Places toilets are designed for adults and children with complex needs. They include a changing bench, hoist, toilet and plenty of space. Middlesbrough has strived to provide Changing Places Toilets in a wide variety of locations across the town for disabled people.

Accessibility

Middlesbrough Bus Station offers step free access and circulation route to the Changing Places Toilet which is clearly signposted throughout the venue

Toilets

Location: Entrance to the South Platform, facility is clearly signposted throughout the main concourse. Opening times: 5am - midnight Access: Membership scheme in operation. Application forms and information packs are available from the Contact Centre by calling 01642 245432 or visiting the Customer Centre at Middlesbrough House in person. Two forms of ID are required to apply for membership. Bus Station staff provide access to the facility for visitors. Equipment: •Clos-o-mat wash/dry toilet with drop down grab bars either side •Kingcraft height adjustable basin •Arjo Concerto height adjustable shower bench •Triton Care shower •Guldmann ceiling track hoist (sling attachments only)
