Overview
A board games cafe in the Custard Factory, Digbeth in Birmingham - lots of games, tasty food, good atmosphere, friendly staff. Flat access and generally navigable with a power chair. However the accessible toilet is very small. General experience, 4.5 stars Accessibility, 3 stars
Transport & Parking
Came from the Bull Ring shopping centre which is pretty close, don't know enough to comment on parking or buses.
Access
Flat access to get inside, somewhat crowded inside but doable to move around in a power chair. Table service for food.
Toilets
The accessible loo has grab rails and door opens outwards but it is very small, not much wider and no longer than the non accessible stalls. Not big enough for most wheelchairs to fit inside, maybe doable with a small manual chair but not much room to maneuvre. If you are an ambulant wheelchair user, there's space by the sinks where you could leave your wheelchair outside the stall. Total walk from your chair to the toilet would be 2-3 metres. Sinks are all in a communal hand washing area. The accessible stall also doubles up as baby changing. No alarm cord.
Staff
