Overview
Board game cafe with wide range of games. Small food menu with lots of vegan option. Good non-alcoholic drink options as well as interesting alcohol. Physically accessible. Great floor to roll on. Spacious. Staff very helpful. Noisy even after turning music down. Non-gendered toilets.
Transport & Parking
Wheelchair accessible buses stop nearby. Roads leading to Custard Factory are uneven and often cluttered but within the complex they’re easy to roll on.
Access
All on one floor. Smooth surface. Spacious. Shape of the room seems to amplify noise. Staff turned music down when asked but noise was still fairly overwhelming.
Toilets
One room of nongendered toilets including one disabled cubicle. Main door to this area not large - potentially a challenge to open it. Red cord too short. Cubicle a bit small to manoeuvre in.
Staff
Really helpful and inclusive. Non judgemental of neurodiverse behaviour. Table service - system of raising a sign on the table to gain their attention was really smooth to use. Quick to get service. Informative staff. Friendly and welcoming.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Spacious and airy - could have more windows open. Lots of hand gel available. Staff always wore masks.
