Overview
The layout of the library is very helpful; I can easily locate the books I need. The library itself is very accessible and is easy to move around for people. The staff at the library are very friendly and welcome you as soon as you come through the door. They also help you find any book you need by doing database searches, spending their time to make sure you leave as a satisfied customer.
Transport & Parking
Travelling to the library is fairly easy. It is located in the center of Castleford town and can be accessed by walking, car and bus and train. In the town car park, there are plenty of disabled car parking spaces and bus routes close to the center.
Access
There are stairs leading to the library but no wheelchair ramp already installed. I believe there is a portable wheelchair ramp. There is not the proper help and guidance laid out for those who have to use sign language. However, the staff will try and do whatever they can to help.
Toilets
The toilet was accessible for most people.
Staff
The staff gave up their own breaks to help me and other customers find what we were looking for. They are very dedicated to their job.
