Overview
Visited the cathedral where they have clearly tried to make the place accessible to all
Transport & Parking
We contacted the Cathedral prior to the visit and booked a place to park by giving our registration plate next to the Cathedral.
Access
On arrival we spoke to one of the many guides who explained what could be accessed and how. The majority of the Cathedral is accessible. Some areas needed a lift to get to which they were quick to access for us.
Toilets
The toilets are separate from the cathedral and are in a new block near to where you park within the grounds. Enough room to manoeuvre.
Staff
They are extremely well trained (guides) with Cathedral staff polite and professional.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
The only negative comment I have is one of slight frustration that the coffee kiosk has 2steps to get to it. There are chairs and tables at ground level that could be used. Great ramp to the gift shop and exit onto the mai shopping area of Canterbury.
