Overview
Great station for access with ramps to the main entrance and lift to the platform. Staff were very helpful in pointing out the way.
Transport & Parking
As a means of public transport the DLR (Dockland Light Railway) is great as you can roll straight on and off the trains with a wheelchair. Once on the train there's a dedicated wheelchair space.
Access
The station, being modern, had great access. It was easy to find with good signposting. Once inside it was easy to wheel around although a little confusing as to which platform to head for. Soon resolved by a very helpful member of staff.
Toilets
Staff
The staff were really good. I didn't know which platform to head for. I asked a nearby member of staff who told me which platform I needed and then offered to take me there. He took me to the platform, explained the best place to wait, and then went that extra mile by explaining what Greenwich Maritime DLR Station was like and which way I needed to head for when I got off the train to go to the Cutty Sark.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Helpful staff often go a long way to making things work - the help I received was great.
