Overview
Immaculate memorial to war dead. Very accessible with ramps and level access. Some of the paths have a fine gravel. The crosses and stars are at preciseangles and it takes your breath away to see the thousands of graves and the thousands of names on the ‘wall of the missing’.
Transport & Parking
We drove there - it’s well signposted from the road and there is a decent sized car park. The Cambridge city sightseeing bus also stops there.
Access
Great! The majority of the site is step free and where there were steps there was a ramp for an alternative route. We only visited the exterior of the grounds as it was nearly closing time when we arrived. You can get right alongside the reflection pools which is lined in one side with the Wall of the Missing. Some of the paths have a fine gravel on them and the graves themselves are on grass which might be tricky for some people. Graves are organised alphabetically with clear signage.
Toilets
Saw them signposted but didn’t use them
