Overview

All the staff, from the kitchen to the instructors were brilliant, friendly, helpful, competent and conscientious. We felt safe doing all the outdoor pursuits at all times. The whole place was very clean and had decent equipment that could cater for anyone's needs. The bedrooms were comfortable and the food tasty. Everywhere and everything was accessible to wheelchair users. I can't recommend it enough, despite the wet weather we still had a brilliant time.

Transport & Parking

We arrived on a coach which was a bit of a squeeze but we managed it. Decent size carpark with flat or ramped access to all buildings.

Access

Two lifts inside lead to upstairs bedrooms and the bar, downstairs there were more bedrooms, a couple of lounges and a dining room. There were large written signs and some symbols on rooms, Braille in the lifts.

Toilets

Cleaned daily shower ensuites and larger accessible bathrooms all with access to mobile hoists. Also plenty of extra toilets around the building.

Staff

The chef was very helpful adapting to anyone's needs. Our instructor Oli was very knowledgable about all the types of equipment available and made sure that everyone was happy and comfortable throughout.
