Overview
The walk at Callander Meadows is accessed from the big carpark on the left hand side of the main road in middle of Callander if heading towards Kilmahog. Simply follow the river round to the right and you'll be on the meadows path, a short but very accessible walk along the river. (Takes about 20mins). Some benches on route but they are few and far between once you leave the car park area. It's mainly flat, with one slope towards the end as you head back to the car park if you want to do the full circle.
Transport & Parking
Not many blue badge spaces, but it's a very big car park and usually plenty of room and blue badge parking is free anywhere not just in the marked bays.
Access
Good flat, tarmac path with just one slope at the end if you do the full circle back to the car park.
Toilets
The toilets are in the other carpark on the opposite side of the main road. If you have a car with you, best to drive there as there's a very steep hill to go up to get into the carpark and up to the loos. The disabled loo is ok (you need a radar key) but not always that clean.

Anything else you wish to tell us?
It's a lovely walk, albeit short. Lots of trees and nature around you. Please be aware if you have a dog with you that likes water that the river can have a very strong current on it, especially where the two rivers meet so please make sure it's safe for your dogs to go in before they dive off the bank! There are a couple of places where water access is quite shallow and slow moving and where it's probably safer for the furry ones to have a swim.
