Overview
This newly opened cafe and bar has made a really good attempt at wheelchair access despite the building being old and subject to restrictions.
Transport & Parking
Access
Although there are a set of steps into the building, there is good level access round the back of the building. You just need to attract the attention of a member of staff in order to get the back door unlocked. The owner did talk about putting in a bell or some thing similar in order to make this easier.
Toilets
The toilet *is* accessible, but only just. A larger wheelchair would be difficult to manoeuvre, but they have obviously tried very hard to make it as accessible as possible.
Staff
The staff are very friendly and obviously trying hard. I'm sure any lack of customer service is down to inexperience.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
The food is great and the real ales lovely. Well worth going to a proper high tea with a glass of prosecco.
