Overview
Nero is a great place to visit if you have help to access due to the doors and small step. The menu and food available is relatively easy to see, but the high counter is less accessible. Staff are always friendly and happy to help though!
Transport & Parking
Parking in the market Square is very close, with some dedicated disabled parking spaces on the side near Nottingham Jewelers. Alternatively the bus stop is a short walk away. Train station is a further walk away and down quite a steep hill.
Access
Cafe Nero has double doors to access from the market Square. There is a small step which is slightly higher at one end than the other due to sloping floor. The doors are quite difficult to keep open so someone using a wheelchair would need someone to help them by holding both doors open while they negotiate the small step. Usually customers sitting near the door or staff will help if they see someone trying to access.
Toilets
Once inside there is quite good access through the cafe, with the disabled toilet located at the back of the cafe. There are grab rails, a toilet and a low sink in situ. There is also a changing table fixed to the wall. The floor is often wet from people hand washing so could be slippy.
Staff
Staff are always really friendly and will help if they are available!

Just to clarify, it is a baby changing table in the toilet. Not an adult changing table.
