Transport & Parking

Can't comment on parking. Public transport in Berlin is highly accessible and the restaurant is close to Alexanderplatz Bahnhof (main line train, S-Bahn and U-bahn) all fully accessible.

Access

You can approach through the Nikolaiviertel (attractive but cobbled streets and narrow pavements with no drop-downs) or more easily down a ramp from Rathausstrasse and then along the river Spree embankment. The restaurant is fully accessible.

Toilets

Spacious and very well-equipped, with a wide door. Easy to get to from the dining areas.

Staff

Courteous and helpful.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

If you sit in the Winter Garden part of the restaurant you will have a view of the River Spree. It is also possible to eat outside on the terrace, but it wasn't quite warm enough for that. The menu offers a range of traditional German dishes, and the fact that Berliners eat here as well as tourists is a plus.
