A Little Oasis of Calm

Overview
One of my favourite cafes in Bath, so maybe I'm biased! It's at the top end of town near the Assembly Rooms/Costume Museum, Museum of East Asian Art and The Circus. The cafe serves hot and cold drinks and a small selection of paninis, brushetta, salads, quiche, soup etc., all made fresh. Pastries are from the Bertinet Bakery, also in Bath. ENTRANCE: There are two entrances to the cafe, the one on Bartlett Street is step-free. The doors are not automatic but the doorway is wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair if the double doors are opened. SEATING: Orders are taken at the table so you dont need to go to the counter (unless you're choosing a cake, which you inevitably will because they are delicious!) The tables are at a reasonable height for wheelchairs and fairly easy to navigate.

Access
Toilets
Toilets are downstairs in the basement. Unfortunately, there are no wheelchair accessible toilets on the site but one can be found 5 mins away at the Assembly Rooms.
Staff
Staff are very pleasant and accommodating. They always ensure that I have a clear route to the table and that the table is in the best configuration, moving chairs for me if necessary.
