Overview
This is a fabulous, friendly, small restaurant, which specialises in fish dishes but also offers some veggie options. I enjoyed my visit so much I came back the following evening to eat there again. The restaurant is located on the first floor and is only accessible by outside staircase.
Transport & Parking
There is a bus stop about a five minute level walk away.
Access
The restaurant is on the first floor, there is no lift and is only accessible by an outdoor staircase. There are 3 steps without a handrail at the bottom. Then the stairs turn 90 degrees and then it's a straight staircase up to the first floor with a handrail on one side. On the first floor is a couple of free standing tables and chairs on a wide balcony next to the entrance door. There is a single step into the restaurant. Inside the restaurant are about 10 - 12 tables, it's quite a small space but it did not feel crowded.
Toilets
There was a toilet but I did not check it out. I assume it was not accessible being on the first floor, with no lift.
Staff
Staff were wonderful, so welcoming and friendly. Service was attentive but you were not rushed. On the second evening they remembered that I was vegetarian and offered to do me a dish not on the menu. Felt so comfortable there, if I lived there this would be my local go to restaurant.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
The food is outstanding. Utterly delicious. The pavlova was to die for. Would definitely go back there if I was back on Mull. Please note that the restaurant is small, extremely popular so pre-booking is highly recommended. Tables can be reserved online. Also note that the restaurant is cash only, no cards excepted. Going there was one of the highlights of the holiday (full of highlight), and as a solo, disabled traveller I felt very comfortable and welcomed.
