Great access for a castle

Overview
Good wide ramp access to the main entrance. There is a lift to the upper floors, but unfortunately that part of the castle is closed at the moment. Ramped access throughout the grounds and in the museum (though you have to go in the exit!) Sadly steps into the cafe counter, no ramp, but seating outside. Good clean accessible toilets. Best of all, both disabled person and carer get free admission (it doesn't say that outside, but we were told no charge).
Transport & Parking
Parking is in the town. We found some car parks were free for blue badge others weren't, so check carefully!
