Overview

This review is based on the Playxperience only. I was invited to go and have a pre tour and to the opening also given special permission to film. The angle that I was looking at was how Disability friendly is the venue, activities and staff members. You will find a video of the tour on our youtube channel.

Transport & Parking

We have a Blue Badge and was staying at the Ocean Hotel which is based opposite the Playxperience this was very handy and was easy to park. There are lifts in the Hotel but during busy times the lifts can get very busy.

Access

The signage was very good all around the Playxperience both inside and out explaining where everything is. Also everything is level access.

Toilets

There is a Changing Places toilet of the first floor containing an adults changing bed, shower, sink and toilet. This room is really nice. There is also another disability toilet on the ground floor. Both rooms contained grab rails and had enough room to move around. Also the Red cord was down to the floor.

Staff

The Staff were all very friendly and had been trained in disability awareness. While I was there, we did extra activities to show the. All being filmed with us on there so they can be put on our channel for referral. The staff have taken some of our cards and will direct to our youtube if anyone ask a out a activity The plan is to have all of the activities in a playlist so it can be referred to. They was really good with us helping us to complete our activities.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

If anyone goes to use the activities at the Playxperience please let Reception know if anything can be improved as they are keeping are a list of suggestions and are very keen to hear what you think. I am due to visit again in the next month. Also please look at the videos on the New Era and Events Youtube channel more will be added.
