Overview

I wanted to experience the best Bunnahabhain had to offer and my goodness did the experience surpass my expectations. The rutted road that winds along for about 3 miles made me worried there would be a ramshackled shed at the end but that is far from the case. There is a picture perfect mix of period distillery buildings and brand new purpose build visitor centre and shop.

Transport & Parking

Driving or private taxi is the only way to get here. The car park is level and the allocated disabled parking is block paved.

Access

There was currently no tour available but the visitor centre had experienced staff and provided everything we wanted. Level access throughout and outside to a terrace overlooking a small beach, harbour and far reaching views across to the Paps of Jura.

Toilets

There is an accessible wc but I had no need to use it. By the looks of the attention to detail throughout the shop I image the WC will exceed minimum requirements

Staff

Attentive and thoughtful, they found us a table with ample space and could not have been more helpful.
