Overview
Buchanan bus station is located in Glasgow City Centre and is near many shops, Universities, Offices. There are a large amount of bus routes and is a very busy area. The main entrance to the station has large automatic doors which are very spacious with loads of room for wheelchair access. However, the side entrance has many stairs leading down to the station which would not be suitable for wheelchair access for example. There are two disabled toilets located in the station which are well equipped however they both require a key to access. The walk ways to the different terminals is pretty spacious but can become extremely busy during peak times. Overall, I would say Buchanan bus station is easy to access and get around in for any given person.
