Overview
Since the stadium's upgrading twenty odd years ago, disabled facilities have improved although they're still not brilliant. Being a season ticket/pass holder, I have a seat upstairs for the Edinburgh games and pitchside for internationals. Being a rugby avid, I love coming to this venue.
Transport & Parking
All the disabled parking bays are in front of The West Stand and can be accesssed with a blue badge. If arriving by foot, there are various forms of public transport which can be used.
Access
On matchday (particularly for internationals), the main obstacle is the sheer volume of people (who can be very rude!) There are three lifts but quite inexplicably only one (very small) gets used to the disabled terrace. It is all level access in the stadium.
Toilets
Plenty of these around the stadium - both upstairs and down. Large enough, but they are filthy and the locks never work. (A word of advice though - if you're pitchside, go before the match, you'll never get out if you wait till half-time!)
Staff
No staff as such but stewards are about, however one feels there are never enough of them and they are in the wrong places. Those that are around are helpful enough but overworked.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
I have been attending Scotland matches here since 1995 & Edinburgh games since 2004 and I seldom have a bad experience.
