Overview
Glad to find a restaurant in Glasgow city centre easily accessible from pavement with no steps. Food acceptable and staff helpful. The restaurant has a relaxing atmosphere at lunchtime and is easy to negotiate with plenty of space between tables.
Transport & Parking
There are 3 disabled parking spaces a short distance further along the street at the City Chambers end. The restaurant is across George Square from Queen Street Station and plenty of buses pass nearby.
Access
Level access from pavement. Large restaurant with plenty of space. Wheelchair lift to lower level if required. Not sure how heavy the entrance door is because it was opened for me.
Toilets
One accessible toilet on ground level, with slight lip at door and slight downward slope into room. Plenty of grab rails but the space around the toilet is cluttered and the room itself is smelly and desperately in need of redecoration.
Staff
Staff were very pleasant and helpful and dealt with my food allergies pretty well. The chef made my main course from scratch because I couldn’t have the standard version on the menu.
