Overview

The access into the building is great, there are three different entrances, however the stairs and the lift to the first floor were difficult to find and there was no signage to assist with this.

Transport & Parking

As Browns is in the centre of York city the parking availability is very limited. However the park and ride service into York is very good but could be quite difficult for a disabled person.

Access

The floor was all level except one area of the ground floor, however there was a ramp next to the steps, the only difficulty was finding the lift to get to the first floor.

Toilets

The toilets were on the second floor and there was no lift to this floor, only stairs, therefore a disabled person would find it very difficult to use the toilet facilities, if able at all.

Staff

Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Staff went out their way to show me where the lift and stairs were and took me to these places as the store is quite big.
