Overview
A beach with a far star rating is unusual ... We loved Broughty Ferry Beach because it has close proximity parking, great view, the option to venture on to the sand for those not on wheels, beachside walkways, a nearby park, and the icing on the cake for us was a Changing Places Toilet.
Transport & Parking
Couldn't be better as we parked right on the beach front - no more than 10 metres and you could be on the sands.
Access
We loved Broughty Ferry Beach because we could park so close. Once out of the car there were tarmac / concrete walkways raised up from the beach so you could walk and wheel and see the amazing views. There were ramps down on the sands if you wanted to go down - not for us powerchair users but Pony Access is changing that as Obama pulls an adapted wheelchair accessible chariot. We liked the nearby park where in the summer you can try crazy golf, the kids can enjoy the play area, grab a coffee or simply chill out on the grass. If you fancy it a five minute walk takes you around to the Harbour and Broughty Ferry Castle.
Toilets
Five stats - Broughty Ferry Beach has its own Changing Places Toilet !
