Overview

I was pleasantly surprised by how accessible the cemetery is. The paths are ideal for me (wide, flat, hard texture, smooth). I found it easy to use my small mobility scooter to get around. Towards the edges are some sections with steps including some which look very old and uneven, so I avoided these sections (just a small proportion of the total cemetery). The more prominent people's graves are closest to the central path (apparently this is common in cemeteries, with "lesser" people's graves further out) - Emmeline Pankhurst's grave is right next to central path (see photo). There are some benches that are well maintained to sit on. There is a café which was nice but a bit cramped to manoeuvre round inside although on a warmer day the outside seating area would be appealing. The approach to the café is direct and completely smooth from the main cemetery path and there's no steps involved, can roll straight in.

Transport & Parking

I used ComCab taxi, it stopped right outside. Note - there is more than one entrance. I used the one on Brompton Road (luckily the taxi driver found me as I said I was on Fulham Road as when I googled the address that's what came up). It's near Chelsea football grounds so on match days Fulham Road is closed/restricted and the area can get very busy so plan wisely around the Kick Off times.

Access

I found the paths on most of the cemetery to be excellent- wide, smooth, hard texture, flat. There are some benches which were clean, sturdy and well maintained, smooth, nice to sit on. A few smaller parts of the peripheral parts have steps which are from the olden days and uneven and a bit muddy but easily avoided (and only a small proportion of the total area).

Toilets

I did not use the loo. There is a lavatory at the café but I didn't go into it.
