Overview
I enjoyed this visitor experience. You only need an hour or so here but it is a great way to see Brighton from above. I dropped half a mark because of the very small accessible toilet once you have gone through security, but there is a bigger accessible toilet near the entrance / exit.
Transport & Parking
We walked here but there are bus stops nearby. The Brighton and Hove buses have lots of accessible features which make them a good option for getting around the area.
Access
There is step free access at this attraction. There is a security section where they search bags etc. This area was quiet when we visited but you may have to wait in a queue if it is busier. You then move through to a holding area while you wait for the structure to return to ground level. There are informative boards here as well as activities to keep children entertained, a few seats, a short film and a bar area. It does start to feel quite busy and the seats fill up quite quickly.
Toilets
For such a modern attraction I was disappointed to find such a tiny accessible toilet once you are through security. It is very narrow and the same size as the other toilets. The sink was also tiny and the flushes are located behind the toilet which could be quite hard to reach. It is also worth mentioning that there aren't any toilets once you are in the viewing pod. The toilet near the entrance is bigger and I'd recommend going here before you go through security, although the design of this toilet is still not great. The flush is on the wrong side, the red emergency cord is tied up out of reach and there were bins in the transfer area.
Staff
We only briefly interacted with staff but they were all friendly.
