Overview

The beach at Brighton is pebble and shelves steeply towards the sea. The area between the pier and the marina is more easily accessible from the road. This part of the road includes a number of blue badge spaces, and there is level access to some coffee shops and the miniature railway. Further along the beach road, there is a new boardwalk that enables wheelchair users and anyone with mobility problems to get along the beach to the marina. I walk with 2 poles and was able to make my way to an area with benches. On this same stretch is a project for people with disabilities who wish to cycle. I have attached photos with the details.
