Overview

The beach wheelchairs are amazing and let those of us with limited mobility get onto the sand and into the sea which is exciting and the changing places toilet just takes the pressure off, letting you spend the whole day at the beach if you want!

Transport & Parking

There's parking along the promenade which we used although spaces are a bit small if you've got a wheelchair vehicle.

Access

The changing places toilet was radar key accessed and was clean and everything you'd expect from a changing places toilet. Being able to hire beach wheelchairs really opens up the access here but even if you don't, you can still go for a nice walk along the flat promenade next to the beach. In terms of wheelchair hire, they have some for sand only and some for sand and sea and they take a deposit which is returned when you take the chair back. I would think on busier days it would be best to ring up in advance.
