Overview
Brasserie Zedel is a characterful old fashion bar/cabaret and restaurant just a short distance from fully accessible Green Park Tube station and near to the London Palladium or the Royal Academy. The restaurant is in the basement but accessed via a lift and set in a vast underground room with beautiful high ceilings, columns, mirrors and live music. The staff are friendly and the disabled facilities are excellent for such a central location and old building.
Transport & Parking
I travelled by Tube (Jubilee Line) from London Bridge to Green Park. About 10/15 minutes wheel from Green Park Station to Brasserie Zedel. Green Park Station is wheelchair accessible but it requires 3 lifts from the platform to street level so you should always contact London TFL to confirm the lifts are in a working order prior to making the trip.
Access
The restaurant/bar at street level has a doorman to let you through the 2 doors and there are 2 lifts down to the basement restaurant. When you arrive in the basement there is plenty of space and an area to leave coats and bags. The restaurant is large but the tables are quite close together. The tables are not great for a wheelchair user although the staff moved me to the best available table although this meant I was still some distance from the table due to the position of the table legs. See photo of lift.
Toilets
Clean accessible toilet but red cord not to the ground - see photos
Staff
Very friendly and helpful and tried to find the best table they could for my wheelchair.
