Overview

Intu Braehead Shopping Centre is an excellent choice to go for your shopping as it provides an array of shops of all styles and has friendly staff happy to help. It makes shopping easier especially at this time of year when Scottish weather isn’t pleasant as it’s all indoors. Braehead is very accessible to wheelchair-bound people due to the presence of plenty disabled toilets, elevators and disabled parking spaces.

Transport & Parking

There are plenty of disabled parking spaces available in all of the car parks at Braehead. There are various car parks around the centre for easy access to certain parts of the centre.

Access

Access to the shopping centre is as easy for wheelchair users as it is for non-wheelchair users. There are two floors of the centre which you can venture between using one of the elevators available. Additionally there are plenty of seats available to stop and have a rest. All of the individual shops have big, bright signs showing the shop name clearly.

Toilets

There are various toilets located around the centre and there are disabled toilets present at each set. The clean and tidy toilets have lots of space to manoeuvre and have grab rails. There is also enough room for a carer in each.

Staff

Every member of staff are always happy to help with any problems, for example providing a scooter if required.
