Overview

Very helpful lady listened to what I needed and booked the accessible bedroom for us as I asked for an accessible shower. The large bedroom and ensuite could suit a variety of access needs. I would book here again. if I was using my electric wheelchair or rollater, I would however need to find out how to enter/exit via the ramped entrance round the back.

No designated Blue Badge parking that we could see.

Access

I was able to manage the steepish steps with handrail to the front door. I saw a reasonable looking wheelchair accessible ramp to a rear door. I presume you need to phone to get that door opened but there was no signage. Flat inside with a door from foyer to bedrooms. Seating in foyer. The designated Accessible bedroom was spacious enough for wheelchair and access to both sides of the bed, the desk and coffee table. The ensuite was huge with a low bath with overhead shower plus a wet shower area, which had a height adjustable shower and drop down shower seat. There were sufficient rails to suit every need at bath, shower, toilet and basin area. The red cord was long and well placed for toilet. The red cord by the bed was tied up to the bed headboard.

Very friendly and helpful. The lady at the front desk was particularly helpful when I called to book. I was worried about the length of walk to the bedroom, and safe shower. I felt totally reassured.
