Overview
This is a small service station on the M74 Southbound side of the road it does however have the range of services that you expect to find including fuel a shop selling everything from newspapers to Scottish souvenirs. There is also a food area that offers take away or sit in we did not visit this section during our visit There is also a charging point for electric vehicles this is right next to the Blue Badge spaces in front of the main services building
Transport & Parking
There are two Blue badge spaces these are right next to the main services building about 15 to 20 meters this might be a small number but not bad for the size of the station its self
Access
The area from the Blue badge parking is level as is the main service building the shop is to the left as you enter and like many of these type of these place space to move was an issue due to display stands and storage units
Toilets
You need to pick up the key from the cash desk in the shop if you want to use this toilet it is not a radar key. The key is on a very large metal key ring that is made not to fit in your pocket . It is good basic wheelchair toilet located next to the other toilets and was well sign posted as you entered main door there is also a very quick right hand turn to get to the door. The light comes on automatically as you enter the toilet
Staff
doing there job and getting on with there day but were happy to hand over key to access toilet etc.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
This service station is also used as a pick up point by some of the holiday companies who take people on coach tours and as a result there can be a few coaches in the area as well
