Overview
I visited Boston Tea party on a Friday morning at 9am for breakfast and the restaurant wasn't too busy. The front entrance is wheelchair accessible, there is another entrance at the side, but this has one step. On entering, the tables are spaced quite closely together, with only just enough space for a wheelchair to pass by. The tables and chairs are not fixed in place so could be adjusted. It is an 'order at the bar' kind of place, there are no steps to the serving area and staff were friendly. There is a disabled access toilet.
Transport & Parking
No parking attached to Boston Tea Party, but is in Cheltenham town centre so there are a number of parking options close by. It is situated on the same road as the central town bus stops.
Access
The were no steps at the main entrance. The doors were closed on arrival and they are not automatic. The menus are on the tables, the cakes are displayed clearly at the counter, although at busy time this might be difficult to access. The cafe is on different levels but the majority of the tables are on the ground floor. Customers order and pay at the counter. Staff are friendly.
Toilets
The disabled access toilet was easy to find and clearly signed. It large enough for a wheelchair user and a carer. It was clean and there were grab rails.
Staff
All of the staff were friendly.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
I would visit again, the food is really tasty and it's a fun atmosphere. The tables near the entrance may make it difficult for a wheelchair user to pass by, this could be rearranged.
