Overview

Left the match at half time as I was disappointed by the way i was treated. I was not allowed to access the away stand with my wheelchair and I was angry. You're also not able to buy something from the shop as there are steps to get into the shop and no ramp. I understand that Elgin City are doing their best but the access for people with mobility issues should be a lot better.

Transport & Parking

4.5

I didn't use a car park on this occasion, I used my scooter to get to the stadium, but I have drove to the stadium before and I know that there is a car park opposite Borough Briggs with disabled parking spaces. You can also park in a car park behind Borough Briggs and there is also a large Tesco car park 5 minutes from the stadium. Elgin train station is about a mile from Borough Briggs and should take about 15 minutes to walk. As you leave the train station turn left and continue to walk up a steep hill. Keep going straight on this road crossing two roundabouts and at the third roundabout turn left. Go up this road for about 500 yards and then you should see the ground on your left hand side.

Access

I couldn't get to the shop as there was a few steps and no ramp. There is a wheelchair enclosure but you can sit anywhere in the stadium except the away end so if you support the away team then be prepared to sit with Elgin City fans for the whole match. If you're cheering on Elgin City but there is a away supporter right next to you then it can be quite awkward!

Toilets

I don't think that there was a disabled toilet so I can't comment.

Staff

3.5

The staff were alright. I mean, they talked to me like a child and asked if I wanted to go to the wheelchair shelter and I said no but he pushed me to the wheelchair shelter.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

There is a supporters social club which welcomes away fans, the entrance to which is located behind the Main Stand. The social club is quite comfortable and accessible. If you take a 15 minute walk into the town centre, then there is a pub called the Muckle Cross on the high street.
