Lots to see and do!
Visit date:
Overview
This place was very unexpected. It used to be a working farm so lots of wide flat paths from when tractors etc. would have been using the space. The restaurant was step free, although there was a lip at the entrance, I’ve tried to include a picture to demonstrate this. The farm shop was well stocked without being hard to manoeuvre. Lots of other activities available here, including grass sledging, roller skating, a sand pit and beer and gin tours, but I’m not sure how accessible these activities are.
Transport & Parking
Plenty of parking and well signposted from the road. Not sure about the public transport options.
Access
Mostly step free to all the main building. Good signage. The outdoor chairs did not seem very accessible but this could be easily fixed.
Toilets
The toilet was clean and with a clear transfer space. I’ve taken a mark off as the red cord did not reach the floor, this could also be easily fixed.
Staff
Everyone we spoke to was lovely and very happy to help. They showed a lot of passion for the company and the local area and made it a really memorable visit.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
I would recommend this to anyone, there is enough going on that it will appeal to families, couples, individuals and groups. The food was very tasty although I would say that the menu is quite selective.
